Polaris Apparel Ltd. is based on the edge of the Peak District in the town of Dronfield, and from this base the company distributes its range of cycling apparel across Europe and throughout hundreds of cycling shops in the UK. We pride ourselves on the number of customers we have who refuse to buy gear from anyone else, as our clothing has served them so well for many years. If you enjoy your sports in harsh and hostile environments, then you should be enjoying them in Polaris cycling clothing (if you want to survive!!).  

Our Commitment to the Environment

Cycling is seen as a green sport and here at Polaris Apparel we're doing our best to make sure it stays that way. You may not realise it, but many cycling products on the market today are flown in from suppliers all around the world to keep lead times short. A lot of this cycling clothing is assembled by poorly paid workers who struggle with awful conditions.   At Polaris we know we can't change the world but we are determined to do our bit to help:

• We don't use air freight to bring goods into this country. Wherever possible we consolidate all our shipments from suppliers to minimise the amount of emissions shipping produces.
• We regularly go to visit our suppliers to ensure that their employees enjoy excellent working conditions relative to other assembly plants in the region.
• At our HQ in Derbyshire we have a full recycling scheme in operation.
• We always offset any emissions produced by business flights to Europe and the rest of the world.
• All Polaris employees are encouraged to car share, cycle or walk to work.
